Run MCNPX
The Visual Editor can also run input files. To run an input file, you just indicate the name of the input file and select run. While running, the number of particles and the total time is constantly updated. The run can be gracefully terminated at any time by pressing the STOP button.
When running in the Visual Editor, you do NOT run the MCNP executable on your system. Instead, you run a internal version of MCNP contained inside the Visual Editor. For the RSICC release, this version was still a beta version when the Visual Editor was compiled and may not exactly match the runs generated by the RSICC mcnp executable. Because of this, you should not use the Visual Editor to make "quality affecting" runs.
